Corporate Social Responsibility
The term “Corporate Social Responsibility” is often associated with the concepts of charitable giving, legal compliance and “ethical” business. We prefer to view it as a broader discipline which encompasses both our company values and our behaviour towards everybody that our business has an impact on, be it directly or indirectly. We believe that as a forward-looking business, we have a responsibility to these “stakeholders” to manage the social, environmental and economic impacts of our business activities in a sustainable way.
We have strived to develop a robust and structured approach to CSR. Building on a strong foundation of policy we aim to drive targeted improvements in our social and environmental performance and to report the results.

Environmental Stewardship – Our Commitment
‘We understand the environmental impact of our operations and constantly seek opportunities to improve it.’
Please refer to our Environmental Policy Statement for further details.
Community Impact – Our Commitment
‘We will make a positive, measurable contribution to the communities in which we operate.’
We believe that our businesses have an important part to play in maintaining the vitality of our communities. This goes beyond our obvious role as a major employer and the contribution that our business makes to the local economy – it includes the support we give to local groups and charities, our engagement with local government and our involvement with community driven initiatives.
Responsible Sourcing – Our Commitment
‘We will always treat our suppliers fairly and ask the same from our customers.’
Our role as a business is to manage effectively the whole supply chain. This means that our responsibilities extend beyond our own direct operations of design, development and integration – we must also ensure that our suppliers conduct themselves in a way that is consistent with our values and commitments.
Workplace Culture – Our Commitment
‘We value the contribution of all our employees and are committed to providing a safe, stimulating, rewarding and collaborative working environment.’
Successfully managing all employees requires exceptional people with exceptional skills which is why we continually invest in the training and development of our team. All employees, regardless of role or seniority, have access to training which includes support for professional qualifications.
